Black Mental Health Village

Let's Heal Together

About US

Black Mental Health Village seeks to improve the health status of African Americans in Nashville and in the US by reducing health disparities through education and legislative, administrative, and media advocacy.

We want to bring awareness to the unique struggles that African Americans face regarding mental illness in the United States.

Our group aims to remove the barriers that Black people experience getting access to or staying connected with emotional health care and healing.

Through our support groups, community discussion, and forums,  we hope to highlight the mental health needs of Black Nashvillians  & address their concerns through community organizing and by connecting members with local Black mental health providers.
