Black Mental Health Village’s Health Justice Leadership Lab: Youth Leadership Development is a one-day Youth Train-the-Trainer program designed for students ages 14–22 who are ready to learn, lead, and advocate for change.
Participants will explore the history of tobacco and targeted menthol marketing in Black communities, learn about the health impacts of vaping among young people, and build practical skills in leadership, public speaking, health advocacy, and community engagement.
Most importantly, participants will put their learning into action by developing and leading their own presentation—turning knowledge into youth-led education and advocacy.
What you’ll gain:
• A deeper understanding of tobacco, menthol, and youth vaping
