  • Do you have to be Black in order to join Black Mental Health Village?
    No! Black Mental Health Village is an inclusive organization and an equal opportunity employer. We provide resources and support without discrimination to anyone who's struggling. Still, we believe that Black people are capable of creating and leading the interventions that heal sustain our communities. This is why some of the spaces we curate are exclusively for Black people and our leadership consists of Black people. Additionally, our programs prioritize the healing of Black, indigenous and people of color impacted by poverty, trauma and poor mental health. Regardless, we believe in creating community, partnerships and collaborations with value-aligned individuals and organizations that promote racial health equity, healing and liberation. Non-Black members, volunteers, Corporate, and Organizational Sponsors are welcome to offer resources towards our initiatives.
