About the Event

MVP creates an affirming space for youth to learn, connect, share their perspectives, and recognize the power they have to influence their own lives and their communities. Rather than relying primarily on lectures, sessions will emphasize conversation, skill-building, reflection, and opportunities for youth to apply what they learn.

Across seven sessions, participants will explore topics related to wellness, racial stress, communication, self-advocacy, community advocacy, restorative justice, and health. Participation in MVP is limited to 10 high school-aged youth, allowing the program to maintain a small-group environment where participants have opportunities to engage, build relationships, and contribute meaningfully to group discussions.
