About the Event
On the last Tuesday of each month, we invite community to bring their youth to the Pruitt Library Branch and join us for a dance session made to promote movement, expression, and connection to our roots.
Our Youth Dance Program is a space where young people can build confidence, express themselves, and have fun through movement.
Students will explore ballet, West African dance, American hip hop, and jazz while developing coordination, creativity, teamwork, and leadership in a supportive environment. At the end of the year, students will have the opportunity to present to community their new skills at a showcase!
Dance instructor, Alexandreia Tolbert, has amazing moves in store for the kiddos!
